Jazz Piano Concert by Dan Costa
The Embassy of Portugal is proud to announce piano concert by the renowned Portuguese jazz artist Dan Costa. This event will take place on 22nd July, 6.30 pm, at The Sugar Club, 8 Leeson Street Lower, Saint Kevin’s, Dublin 2, D02 ET97. All are most welcome, especially music enthusiasts and members of the Portuguese-speaking community.

Daniel (Dan) Costa is a pianist and composer of Italian and Portuguese heritage. He received formal training in both classical and jazz piano at the Académie de Musique Rainier III (Monaco) before completing a diploma at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. However, his commitment to exploring his Latin and Lusophone roots led him to pursue advanced musical studies in Portugal, where he graduated in jazz piano with distinction and was awarded a grant to study Brazilian music in São Paulo.
Dan Costa has developed an extensive international career as a performer and composer, collecting awards like the Global Music Award (2024), collaborating with leading artists, and appearing at major venues and festivals worldwide. His work has been recognised by international media outlets and music publications, and several of his recordings have achieved notable chart success.
