Carole King’s Tapestry: An Evening in Laurel Canyon

Overlooking the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, Laurel Canyon hosted a community of musicians through the 1960’s and 70’s forming a hive of creativity in the age of hippies and flower power. Among Laurel Canyon’s residents were the likes of Neil Young, James Taylor, The Byrds, Eagles, The Doors and Joni Mitchell.

Performed by a live 6-piece band with vocals, in the first half, you will hear music from some of the artists listed above as well as many other Laurel Canyon residents during this time.

In the second half, you will hear Carole King‘s 1971 masterpiece Tapestry in full.
