The stage is full of our friends including Friends of The Relics a Dublin group who dabble in punk, funk, folk, reggae and more..They will get you up and they won’t let you down! With more styles then a hairdressers hangbag, a night with the Relics with linger long in the temporal lobe.
Ispíní na hÉireann a revolutionary trad fusion collective from Dublin, fronted by Tomás Mulligan, Paahto Cummins, and Declan Gillen. Rooted in Irish traditional music yet fearlessly inventive, the band brings together some of Ireland’s most exciting and talented contemporary musicians for a raucous and unique musical experience.
Late night will bring us to Astray, headed by Salim Dastan AKA Mr Upfull. From his controller expect a combination of Dub, Traditional Irish and Jazz flavours with the seasoned skills of Bob Batty on Alto Sax, Clarinet, Flute and whistles; Gerard Fitzsimon on Tenor Sax and Flute; Dereck Copely on Banjo and Aminah Dastan on vocals. Their music fuses bass heavy rythms, ignighted by strong Irish motifs grounded in roots and jazz sensibilities. A fresh future sound cast from traditions in folk magic!
Awakening our beer garden we will have Rub a Dub Hi-Fi Dublin based heavy weight sound system, full concious energy. Established 2014 Rub a Dub plays sounds from the roots of Reggae and Rocksteady all the way futureforward to the “Year 3000 Dub”.
