Cult Queer comedy night, Token Straight, presents a special Pride performance featuring Ireland’s top queer comics.

Michael Fry is a comedian, actor and content creator from Navan, living in Dublin. He is best known for his satirical sketches and musical renditions of viral videos on Twitter and Instagram which have led to appearances at festivals and on radio and television in both Ireland and the U.K.

Michael has appeared on TV shows such as Holding, Derry Girls and No Worries If Not and he is touring his live standup show around Ireland and further afield in 2023.

Shane Daniel Byrne is a writer, actor, MC and award winning stand-up comedian. After a decade working as an actor and theatre maker he tried his hand at stand-up and hasn’t looked back since. He has performed at clubs all over Dublin as well as major festivals including Vodafone Comedy Festival, The Cat Laughs and Love Sensation. At Cat Laughs 2019 he was named ‘The Rockies Champion’.

In the same year he took second place in the prestigious and world famous ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition at The Gilded Balloon at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has gained a following of nearly 30,000 people on Instagram with his sketches being viewed over a million times in 2020 alone. He has appeared on RTÉ & Virgin Media TV.

Lolsy Byrne is an award-winning stand-up and one of the stars of the TRY Channel, gaining hundreds of millions of views with their “Irish People Try…” videos. A regular on the Irish comedy scene and further afield, her notable appearances include Electric Picnic, Vodafone Comedy Festival, Longitude, Forbidden Fruit, “Best of Irish” at The Stand, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where she has performed her solo shows to sold-out audiences. Winner, Show me the Funny, 2017. Irish finalist, Funny Women, 2017, 2018.

Felix O’Connor is Dublin’s funniest, hottest and cleverest trans masculine comic… by default. But he still counts it. Felix takes the absurdity of the trans experience and melds it with regular absurdity, cheeky sex stories and biting social commentary. Felix’s off the wall comedic stylings are sure to have you laughing and maybe, just maybe, thinking a little too. Felix is Co-founder of Hysteria Comedy and Token Straight, and host of the Not Trans Trans Movies podcast.

Allie O’Rourke is an award winning transgender stand up comedian, Actor and screenwriter. She has performed across Ireland, the uk and the usa pedaling her unique brand of girl dick energy. She has graced comedy club and festival stages alike such as The Paddy Power Comedy Festival, Knockanstockan, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Love Sensation and The Dublin Fringe Festival. She is a cofounder of the Hysteria comedy collective and the resident mc and co-founder of Token Straight. Allie is a hilarious and eye opening middle finger to a world that doesn’t want trans people to exist.
