The Comedy Cellar is Ireland’s longest running stand-up comedy club,
having been established in 1988 by Ardal O’Hanlon, Barry Murphy and
Kevin Gildea.

They’re delighted to bring this selection of some of the Cellar’s favourite
acts to the plush surroundings of the Sugar Club, a venue that the Irish
Times calls ‘to die for’.

SHARON MANNION MC
Sharon is a comedian and writer best known for her role as ‘Concepta’ in the
RTE 2/UKTV hit comedy, ‘Bridget & Eamon’. She won the Best Stand up award at the inaugural Fr. Ted Festival and has been a regular across Ireland and the UK ever since. She is the resident host of the Comedy Cellar at the International and
performs at clubs and festivals all over Ireland and beyond including The
Cat Laughs Comedy Festival – Kilkenny, Paddy Power Comedy Festival –
Iveagh Gardens Dublin, Vodafone Comedy Carnival, Galway, and headlining the KCIF, Missouri, in 2019.

Further FILM/TV credits include ‘Aisha’, ‘Michael Inside’ (Pathway Films, directed by Frank Berry), ‘Irish Pictorial Weekly’ (RTE), ‘Damo & Ivor’ (RTE), ‘Prosperity’ (RTE, directed by Lenny Abrahamson), ‘Roy’ (BBC) and more.

She has also narrated two series of RTE’s ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’.

Kevin has gigged all over Britain and Ireland and the rest of the known
world – from Singapore to Sligo. He has headlined gigs in Johannesburg and
Cape Town and regularly plays all the major comedy festivals in Ireland –
The Electric Picnic, ATN,  The Paddy Power Comedy Festival in the Iveagh
Gardens, The Galway Comedy Festival, Kilkenomics etc.

Kevin has also performed at The Edinburgh festival with his comedy band
‘THE KEVIN GILDEAS’ which received rave reviews.

He supported Reg D Hunter on his UK and Irish tour. He is a founder member of Dublin’s famous Comedy Cellar with ‘Mr.Trellis’ and was a writer and performer on RTE TV’s satirical comedy show ‘Irish Pictorial Weekly’. He has appeared in RTE’s ‘Bridget and Eamon’, played ‘Fr Cave’ in ‘Fr.Ted’ (the one on the aeroplane) and has written for Alexei Sayle’s TV show.

MARTIN ANGOLO
Martin is an award winning Irish comedian who is a regular at comedy clubs and festivals all over Ireland and the UK. In 2021, he appeared on RTE 2 panel show ‘Clear History’ and ‘The Deirdre O’Kane Show’ for SKY. He has written and performed comedy for BBC radio, hosts his own podcast ‘The Substantial Meal’ and has had millions of views weekly as a regular contributor of the ‘Try’ Youtube channel. He has supported comedians Eric Andre, Marc Maron, Aziz Ansari and David O’Doherty on their tours.

KILLIAN SUNDERMAN
Killian is a sketch and stand-up comedian and actor, whose comedy
videos went viral during 2020 and his humorous take on Irish culture has
quickly become a staple on social media. He is also lead singer and guitarist with up-and-coming Dublin rock band ‘The Sleaze’.

FIONA FRAWLEY
A fast rising talent on the Irish comedy scene, Fiona uses quick wit, dry humour and the appropriate amount of cringe to give the people what they want – jokes that make them feel better about their own awkward existence. Fiona can regularly be found on Ireland’;s most iconic comedy stages including at Vicar Street where she recently supported Tommy Tiernan, Iain Stirling, Joanne McNally, and Cherry Comedy where she is a resident MC. She has performed at the country’s top festivals including Electric Picnic and the Vodafone Comedy Festival, and also beat the gong at the famous Comedy Store in London.
