Blending notes of R&B, Blues and rap with the waves of soul. 

The Bahian artist had a striking start to her career, featuring in the Latin Grammy nominated song “AmarElo” alongside Emicida and Pablo Vittar.

Majur’s debut album “Ojunifé” (2021), documents her journey of self-discovery and features collaborations with Liniker and Luedji Luna, reinforcing the message of diversity and black affection.

Its title “Ojunifé” means ‘eyes of love’ in yoruba. As Majur explains: “This is my axè* given name and I chose to use it as this project reflects my path into looking at myself with the care and love I deserve.” Regarding the musical references of the album, she comments: “Ojunifé is AfroPop, alternative touches, African and indigenous keys, in harmony with the beat in pop, soul and R&B”.
